Solera Bravo Wines was created by Nacho and Melissa Bravo to produce a sweet red vermouth suitable for enjoying on its own. Our love for vermouth started when we discovered the Spanish tradition of “doing the vermouth” or “haciendo el vermut.” To do the vermouth, hundreds of people gather in La Latina and other neighborhoods of Madrid to spend Sunday afternoon enjoying vermouth with friends and family. We wanted to re-create that feeling when we returned home, but found very few locally available vermouths suitable for enjoying on their own. We started making our own vermouth in 2006, and what started as a hobby in our basement has evolved into a fully licensed vermoutherie.
We carefully select our ingredients and apply traditional blending and aging methods to produce Vermut Del Sol. We source our wine from Washington producers and look for high quality ingredients, choosing organic and regionally grown whenever possible.
We hope you enjoy our Vermut Del Sol.
¡Hacer el vermut!
Cheers,
Nacho & Melissa Bravo
